UM ESTUDO SOBRE O USO DO TELETRABALHO COMO FERRAMENTA DE REDUÇÃO DE CUSTOS E MELHORIA DA PRODUTIVIDADE

The constant technological advances and the need for changes in business management and people enable different companies by way of provision of services to employees. Telecommuting is a way to work more flexible, and establishing new concepts in relationship between employee and employer. The ability to work anywhere and at any time brings benefits to workers, enterprises and society. The aim of this study is to show the benefits of teleworking and their impact on cost reduction, on the quality of life of employees, motivation and organizational performance improvement in productivity of teleworkers, the improvement in the company's performance and its competitiveness. Will be approached also the deployment process of telework and the reasons why organizations adopt telecommuting. In the end, it appears that in this scenario, the telework is a strategy for companies that intend to continue competitive.
