Abstract

This article investigated the impact of employee turnover at the fictional company "ALFA", focused on the production of printed circuit boards in São Paulo. The main issue addressed was high turnover and how it affects the company's productivity and competitiveness. The objective was to evaluate the effects of turnover on operational performance, exploring the relationship between the loss of skilled workers and the production time of new employees. To achieve this goal, the study used surveys with managers and employees, as well as an analysis of performance indicators before and after the replacements. The results revealed that turnover negatively impacted efficiency, but also pointed to possible strategies to mitigate its effects. These include the development of practices that improve the integration of new employees and better adaptation to activities, with a focus on maintaining a qualified technical team, which is essential for the company's success in the circuit board sector.
