A LOGÍSTICA REVERSA COMO CAMINHO ESTRATÉGICO PARA RESPONSABILIDADE AMBIENTAL DOS NEGÓCIOS

The management of operations focused on reverse logistics, should seek to measure the environmental impact generated by the production of their consumer goods. Thus, this paper aims to show the importance of environmental responsibility in operations management and reverse logistics. For this purpose, a literature review was conducted based on the analysis of the reports of two companies, one in the health sector and the other of cosmetics. As a result, it was possible to understand the importance between running a business and adopting actions for the proper treatment of the extracted resources, in order to economic, social and environmental balance. The companies showed in their reports gains from the use of recycled material, benefiting the entire chain and the environment. In this context, reverse logistics helps in the process of re-establishing values and establishing links with new audiences evaluating their environmental responsibilities.
